Personal development
The cornerstones of your ITP Programme are:
- Personal Growth: The development of presentational or negotiation skills, or your ability to chair a meeting.
- Professional Development: Gives you in-depth expertise on the track of your choice.
- Organisational Growth: Gaining a real understanding of ING’s structures, our place in the banking arena, and how you fit in to it all.
You steer your own career and we’re there to support you. Your Talent Manager helps you to select your first project and monitor you during the all-important first stages of your career with us. You are also assigned a personal mentor – a senior ING executive who is there to challenge and inspire you, as you strive towards the goals you have set for yourself. And, because we truly value your interests and objectives, you will have the opportunity to work on your personal development through courses and training. Together with your manager or mentor you decide what you need to help you grow as person. It’s your choice - grow in whatever way you like.
Your first position
After rotating between different projects or jobs for the first 12 – 18 months to see different parts of our business, you will now grow into a role that carries some responsibility – the start of a journey that could take you anywhere.
