{Dev}School - SQL Edition

About {Dev}School

{Dev}School is all about developing your programming skills in an intense and fun learning experience. During this training, you will develop your programming skills by using SQL and ETL tools, you will experience working with Oracle database and IBM InfoSphere DataStage. You will also learn what is Business Intelligence, types of Databases,  Data Warehouse concepts. If you successfully complete the training program, you could put your skills at work in our IT Team, either in ING Bank or in our ING Tech.

Here are the logistical details:

• It will host 15 participants;
• It will last for 8 weeks
• It will be organized in (Tuesday & Thursday), 3 hours per week.

What we are looking for in {Dev}School

We welcome any IT passionate who is:

• A student in final study year or a recent graduate (2 years max, Bachelor or Master) of Computer Science/Cybernetics University;
• A logical thinker, who has a good eye for details;
• A good team player;

…and who has

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• In love with numbers, data oriented, mathematics enthusiast;  
• Basic knowledge on databases concepts;
• Good command of English.

What happens after graduating {Dev}School

Your trainer for {Dev}School – SQL Summer Edition

Florina Cirlan is DataLake WBS Team Leader in ING Tech. She has over 8 years’ experience in development and architecture of database software solutions as developer and  team leader. Her expertise  is mainly build in the financial  industry and she is specialized in the commercial banking sector.
