Tell us something about you

I`m Tamer, I finished my studies in the economic field and in ING Bank I work on the Retail strategy for Non-Lending products (current accounts, savings and investment funds). My journey in ING International Talent Programme started with Retail track, in 2017. Since then, I`ve been involved in different local and international projects and happy to work in an Agile team with banking experts. One of my favourite project is the launch of the commercial strategy for ING Card Complet.I`m passionate about finance and investments. Most of my free time I spend going to specialized events in this domain and try to interact with the communities. My aim is to contribute as much as possible at the development of the capital market in Romania.

Why ING International Talent Programme?

I was looking for a way to start my career in banking. And have access to international opportunities and projects from different areas. In ING International Talent Programme I found exactly what I was looking for: the opportunity to learn more about a bank and what suits me best and received the guidance and instruments to develop my skills. The decision to continue with Retail was easy. It`s the perfect place to improve the banking experience for millions of clients.

Tell us your favorite story from your ITP journey?

One of my favourite stories has to do with the clients interviews for launching a new invoice payment method. Our wish was to find out more about our customers and their behavior related to invoices: average no. of invoices, invoice format, payment method etc. Beside the statistics, we asked the clients for feedback. I had a meeting with a building manager that digitalized the payment process in the building. That`s how important it is to hear the voice of your clients, beside data. Those insights helped us develop My invoices/Facturile mele service from Home`Bank.
