In this role you will be part of our Marketing communications & Branding team and work within our Lending Tribe.

This year we will launch our new brand positioning in the Business Banking market and we are looking for an experienced, creative, organized and determined Sr. Marketing Specialist who will help us bring our brand to life in the market and for our customers.

You will be responsible for the Business Banking marketing and communication campaigns, both externally and for our customer base. And working on a marketing & communication approach that will help us grow in clients and become the most desirable bank in Romania.


 

About Business Banking

Business Banking Division services clients from Start Ups and Micro companies up until Mid Corp companies with a turnover to a ~100 mil EUR.

Our ambition for the Business Banking market is high, competition is though, and the marketing profession still must be further developed. Your role is to bring the marketing approach to a higher level, from planning to execution and evaluation, be the marketing expert for the business and the business expert for the Brand & Marketing team.

Your Day to Day

  • Marketing & communication strategy to claim a differentiation positioning for Business Banking in the market that both builds on the ING brand and achieves the business line objectives
  • You will be the linking pin between the Marketing & Communication team, the agencies (creative and media) and the Business Banking team, working in close relations with the business leads of Business Banking.
  • Stakeholder management within Business Banking organization, both local and with the global team. - excellent stakeholder management, especially with B2B partners
  • position the ING Business app as the #1 banking app for companies  
  • Identify new opportunities for marketing and communication and be able to create the support to implement
  • Plan and deliver marketing campaigns, for both our customer base as external product & brand campaigns, from start to finish including the monitoring and evaluation
  • Work closely with the Business Banking Clients Team for identifying key marketing and communication priorities. Communication support for new products & features developed by the product teams and for any change related to the assigned products that need to be transmitted to our clients. 
  • Work closely with Business Banking Customer Experience Management Team for crafting effective value proposition customer communication and roll-out effective personalized interaction campaigns
  • Partner with our creative agencies to create and deliver marketing campaigns (both on- and off-line)
  • Manage your budget

What you bring to the Team

  • At least 5 years’ experience in Marketing and Marketing Communications in Business to Business. Having experience in a creative agency is an advantage.
  • Experience with discovering unique client stories, building case studies
  • Experience with connecting with various typologies of b2b clients and coming up with the best strategy to reach and connect,
  • You need to be a respected sparring partner for the business, understanding their challenges and at the same time being pro-active in your plans and take initiative whenever you see the opportunity.
  • Experience with developing and updating compelling b2b websites
  • Experience in developing marketing strategies and executing them
  • Experience in delivering marketing campaigns, both on- and off line
  • Experience in working with different digital platforms and social media and using them in campaigns
  • Prior experience in Personalized Interaction (in B2B) is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial experiences is a plus
