Mission

Touchpoint Platform is part of ING’s “Think Forward” strategy to become a truly global bank. It is a strategic program that aims to provide a globally scalable banking platform by simplifying and standardizing our banking applications and creating a modularly built system.

As a CTK engineer you will work in a squad with other engineers that have similar skills as you. Together you will enhance the Conformance Testkit (CTK). The CTK is designed as a testing harness for applications written within ING ensuring that they meet all functional and non-functional requirements (performance, resilience, security, platform conformance). In addition to verifying whether requirements are being achieved the CTK also assists the application engineer in finding the cause of issues and solving them.

Your day-to-day

• Deliver high quality software that enables other teams to deliver their APIs better and faster;
• Support users of your product when they have technical questions or experience issues;
• Support more junior developers in creating better applications.

Who we are looking for?

We are currently looking for an experienced developer for our CTK Squad within Touchpoint. The squad will consists of 5 engineers and a PO , mixt located in Amsterdam & Cluj.

We are looking for the following characteristics:

• A collaborative approach to solving problems while bringing positive energy to the team;
• Relentlessly learn and think in solutions, considering short and long-term value and impact
• Excellent team player in an international team, quality focused, service oriented, eager to learn;
• A strong interest in Continuous Delivery and Agile/ Scrumban ways of working.

What you bring to the team

• 7+ years experience as a Software Engineer;
• Hands-on experience with two or more major programming languages (i.e. Java/ Go/Scala);
• Good experience with scripting languages is required, Bash is a plus;
• Experience with Docker Compose, Docker, Kubernetes;
• Capable of delivering both working code and a suitable set of automated tests;
• Experience with native images is also a plus;
• Experience with the Open Source way of working;
• Academic education: Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Cybernetics or equivalent;
• Good understanding of software security issues, like the OWASP top 10.
