If you were to recommend ING to a friend, what would you say about the organization?

The adventures of an intern in banking...How could I describe the bank in a few words? Diverse, energy, team, creativity, fulfilment, on fast forward... I mean, not like any other bank.

How is Life @ ING? (especially from a learning experience point of view)

CSR or Corporate Social Responsibility is the delight of the moment. In my opinion, the CSR activities transitioned from a “nice to have” approach to a “must have” approach and this way we definitely know that companies have a real impact in the community. ING focuses on CSR activities that have impact in areas such as business & entrepreneurship (e.g. Startarium) and finance (e.g. Banometru). Moreover, we have initiatives through which we are reducing ING`s carbon footprint. From recycling to planting trees and learning about eco-friendly alternatives.

Another thing I like about my CSR responsibilities in the Communications team is the fact that I can attend a diverse series of events. The latest one was an insightful workshop called “How NGO’s communication is perceived?”

How would you explain your role to a 7-year-old?

Communication is important between people. That`s a fact! Together with my colleagues from the department, we make sure that communication in ING is at its best among other colleagues and our clients.
