What does the online test cover?

The ING Group’s online tests are comprised of three parts:

  • Situational judgement test: this addresses situations that you can encounter as a trainee at work
  • Match 6.5– Here you self-assess your potential in the workplaceSwift executive aptitude test: this  test looks into your verbal and numerical comprehension and logical thinking talent

The tests take about 35 minutes. If you pass, things get interesting: We’ll invite you for a telephone interview on behalf of ING Germany.

What can you expect in a HR-Video interview?

We want to learn more about you and your motivation. Why do you want to be part of ING? Why are you interested in a trainee program? We also clarify some organizational matters, such as when you would like to start. We’ll also answer your questions about the program. After you pass this step, we look forward to getting to know you better in a video interview.

What can you expect in the final video interview?

We would like to get to know you even better in a personal interview. Colleagues from HR and from the respective department will also be present. In addition to our questions about your motivation or your previous experience, your questions will of course not be neglected.

What can you expect at a Company Day?

This is the day in which we get to know each other in Frankfurt and you can learn more about ING, our company culture and our values. You’ll meet other applicants and get your first glimpse of the different departments. We’ll have a personal discussion and you’ll have the chance to find out anything you’d like to know. You’ll also get the chance to chat with our trainees to learn more about the International Talent Programme. The Company Day is always held in English.

* Currently, the Company Day is only held for the Wholesale Banking track in Frankfurt.
