JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage important client relationships with guidance from senior colleagues or oversee relationship management with a group of more transactional clients and customers
  • Act as a business partner to important internal customers and manage relationships with them, while taking guidance from senior colleagues
  • Participate in the selection of external consultants or advisors to deliver key projects and/or ad hoc services; ensure that business objectives and requirements are clearly understood and monitor outcomes, taking appropriate remedial action where necessary
  • Manage a portfolio of major facilities services in line with the overall supplier management strategy
  • Develop and/or deliver a plan for significant aspects of the financial management and/or control process
  • Communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the team; explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision and values; motivate people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve local business goals.
  • Monitor and review performance and behaviors within area of responsibility to identify and resolve noncompliance with the organization's policies and relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct
  • Manage and report on the performance of a substantial, diverse team; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports or project / account team members and hold them accountable for achieving these; take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of team / personal objectives.
  • Develop functional or operational policies and help develop policy frameworks for area of responsibility or department. Take responsibility for creating underlying procedures and monitoring their implementation.
  • Develop and/or deliver elements of a strategic planning system with guidance from senior colleagues
