ING Solutions Investment Management (ISIM) is looking for a Fund Oversight Officer to support the current and planned developments of its activities in Luxembourg.
Your working environment
ISIM is a subsidiary of ING Luxembourg. ISIM benefits from the status of a “Super ManCo” as it has the licenses to manage both UCITS and Alternative Investment Fund (AIF).
ISIM oversees Investment funds distributed by ING Group entities.
Launched in 2014, ISIM is pursuing its development and its positioning as the Management Company (‘ManCo’) of ING Group and is the key tool for Investment fund solutions within the Group.
ISIM is looking for a Fund Oversight Officer to reinforce its team in the context of the development of its activity.
Job description
As a Fund Oversight Officer, you will oversee the activities of the Central Administrations and Depositary Banks of investment funds managed by ISIM. More specifically, you will perform the following controls:
Oversight and controls of delegated functions (Fund Administration, Depositary Bank)
- Perform initial and periodic due diligence on the delegates
- Review and analyse the Key Performance Indicators & Key Risk Indicators of the funds (monthly review/exceptions reports from delegates)
- Review and follow up the cash and asset reconciliations
- Oversee the coordination of the fund corporate life cycle (general meetings of shareholders, board circular resolutions, etc)
- Coordinate the funds’ dividend payments
- Ensure that fund tax documentation is in place and accurate
- Coordinate and prepare the recurrent meetings with delegates and draft respective minutes
- Ensure day-to day monitoring of delegates and follow-up of incidents
- Work in close cooperation with Portfolio, Finance, Risk, Compliance and Legal
Financial Statements and other fund reporting
- Coordinate the entire funds’ audit process with Central Administration and auditors
- Check the Financial Statements
- Review/coordinate all other fund reporting
Board reporting and meeting
- Organise the funds’ board meetings
- Ensure the preparation of the board packs in collaboration with the various counterparties (Central Administration, Depositary Bank, auditors, Investment Manager)
Given the size of the team, the Fund Oversight Officer will also have to ensure support/backup with regard to administrative tasks of the ManCo whenever needed.

Your profile
Knowledge and experience
- Master in economics/finance or equivalent
- Relevant experience of minimum 3 years in the fund industry (e.g. in relation with Fund Administration, Depositary Bank or audit of funds)
Skills
- Knowledge of:
- regulatory requirements and fund organization applicable to both UCITS and AIF;
- fund accounting mechanisms and NAV calculation
- financial markets and products
- Excel proficiency and comfortable with numbers
- Flexible and eager to learn
- Rigorous and critical scepticism
- Sense of responsibility and autonomy
- Team player with good communication skills (both oral and written)
- Fluent in French, English and Spanish is required
