What do we do with the information that you share with us?
We will only use your personal information for legal grounds and legitimate interests. If you apply for a job, we will collect, use and store personal data from you in connection with the recruitment and hiring process such as checking if you have the right qualifications for the job.
After a conditional job offer has been made ING may use your personal data to conduct a background check as part of its procedures for processing your application for employment or engagement. We do not process sensitive information such as your political or religious beliefs, race and criminal history unless it is strictly necessary and it's legally required or if you chose to share this info with us.
Personal data is stored during your employment as well as during a term subsequent to the end of your employment. We are only allowed to keep your personal data for as long as it’s still necessary for the purpose we initially required it or if you have provided us with your consent for storing it (e.g. future job vacancies). Your personal data will be retained no longer than necessary.
