Your Tasks

• Using expertise, spirit, and communication skills you advise customers from the German “Mittelstand” as well as multinational clients and take the lead regarding their lending transactions.
• Your approach is holistic and you are involved in all aspects, from financial analysis to structuring transactions and preparing credit applications right up to closing transactions. You take responsibility for creating and verifying documentation and negotiate the legal framework with your customers.
• Closing the transaction does not slow you down: portfolio management is always on your radar; high quality is your way of life, and you keep profitability in focus.
• National and global teamwork within Corporate Sector Lending, e.g. with Syndications, Risk Management, Legal, Capital Structuring & Advisory and Client Coverage comes naturally to you and – working with Client Coverage – you generate ever new leads and invitations for transactions.
• The entire team benefits from your commitment, as you ensure the transfer of knowledge regarding product and market development and act as a mentor and coach to support the development of your team members.
• Last, but not least you are passionate about implementing our sustainability goals and active balance sheet management.

Your Profile

• Very good degree in economics or similar qualifications
• Several years of professional experience and extraordinary accomplishments in a transaction-driven environment
• Profound knowledge of financial markets, operating capital solutions and structured lending products as well as in negotiating, structuring, and implementing lending transactions
• Practice in negotiating and in setting up loan agreement documentation and in strategic c-level dialog with customers
• Excellent analytical mindset, negotiating skills as well as a strong entrepreneurial mindset and approach
• Fluent in written and spoken German and English
