The Tech ING Netherlands organization consists of more than 2.000 talented engineers, who are working together over various locations (Netherlands, Romania, India, Philippines) to deliver and own best in class services and applications for our customers. Within Tech ING Netherlands there are the domains: Products; Digital channel; Payments, Cards & Cash, Corebanking & Advisory; Customer & Data. CISO and Architecture are also key and part of the MT of Tech DBNL.

Program manager / Chapter Lead oversees change and coordinates the delivery of complex changes. As part of the Leadership Team within the TECH Payments domain you will play a crucial role. We are seeking an individual to step into the role of Porgram manager / Chapter Lead for the Payments, Cards and Cash domain, possessing extensive expertise in Large (payments) Change programmes, guiding involved IT Integrators and IT Business Analyst, managing local and international collaborations, and implementation of critical business changes.

Roles and Responsibilities

A successful experienced Program manager who is also the Chapter Lead for the IT Integrators and IT Business Analysts

  • Creates an awesome atmosphere in which everyone feels appreciated and heard, and where everyone enjoys their work.
  • Actively aligns with the IT Lead, IT Area Leads and business on the delivery and priority of the work. This alignment and delivery takes place across amongst others the payments chain, savings, digital channels, ING Payment Settlement Services (PSS) and Current Accounts and Savings..
  • Uses his/her skills to attract and retain the IT Integrators and IT Business Analysts and create the best engineering and delivery culture in an Agile way of working environment.
  • Values engineering craftsmanship and develops craftsmanship of the employees working in their respective area. Provides high-level strategic guidance to the IT Integrators and IT Business Analysts.
  • Leads significant transformative initiatives with broad-reaching international effects.
  • Oversees the IT budget and staff allocation within the domain of responsibility.
  • Promotes creativity and originality, such as by catalyzing internal conferences.
  • Ensures adherence to IT risk, security, and compliance commitments.
  • Plays a constructive role in enhancing the broader IT organization.
  • Understanding of the Payments domain

Program manager / Chapter Lead is an ambassador for the ING culture (Orange Code) and meets the requirements of the associated manager's conduct profile.
