Payments form the foundation of the global financial architecture. All of us use payments in some form daily whether to purchase at shops or to sell our goods online. Finance Advice for Global Retail Payments is a business partner to the business by improving transparency into metrics and supporting in data-based decision-making.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders regarding the Payments and Banking Platforms.
  • Create a uniform view of the product (metrics) across all Retail countries.
  • Support in planning of product related roadmaps – with robust business cases and clear outcome metrics
  • Develop dashboards that are available on time, of good quality & easy to understand
  • Formulate a framework that provides inputs for optimization of income
  • Influence decision making of stakeholders
  • Make transparent the business drivers that impact financial results.
  • Optimize, simplify and automate processes to improve predictability, transparency and speed.
  • Drive alignment across functions to achieve enhanced profitability of the product – reporting, planning, processes, systems.
  • Be in the driving seat for projects directly impacting Finance.

You report hierarchically to the Head Finance Business Advice in ING Domestic Bank Netherlands.

    Furthermore, you have:

    • Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Data Science
    • Good understanding of the Payments sector and the relevant business logic and data flows.
    • 8+ years of experience in financial planning, strategy, data science or sales within Payments industry (technical or commercial profiles with finance affinity are welcomed to apply).
