The Lead Business Management CIO Office F&R will work directly with the CIO F&R acting as a key sparring partner and sounding board to the CIO and F&R management team. You will proactively support and advise on day-to-day and strategic activities to enable focus, prioritization, effective decision making and to drive results. You will be part of the F&R management team and key stakeholders in order to advance strategy and ensure targets are achieved.

In this role, you will oversee Workforce Management activities. You will deliver comprehensive management information support, providing critical insights and data to inform decision-making processes. Additionally, you will manage contract management activities, ensuring that contractual obligations are met. 

As the Lead Business Management CIO Office, you will also supervise the business manager and PAs, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving improved strategic execution and operational performance, ensuring that the CIO organization achieves its goals and objectives

Key Responsibilities

Senior advisor to CIO on strategy execution.

Supporting and advising CIO F&R and the F&R MT, represent management at a tactical level.

Expert in the areas of responsibility of the CIO Office:

  • Overseeing the activities to drive development and implementation of the workforce strategy.
  • Consultancy regarding the contract with the strategic SSI partners and representing the CIO domain regarding SSI towards the Global Sourcing & Partner Management team.
  • Supporting the leads within F&R with working on onboarding processes to improve employee experience and efficiency. Providing insights and facilitating appropriate decision making of staffing levels.
  • Overseeing the activities to ensure that appropriate decisions are made, enabling key decision makers to prioritize demand. Delivering and analyzing the metrics to be followed to track the progress of IT achievements against objectives.
  • Contract Management/Transaction Officer. Overseeing the activities to ensure high quality vendor contract administration and compliance.
  • Hierarchically managing the employees who are supporting the IT Leads with their scheduling and organizing of departmental activities.
  • Managing the business manager who is giving day-today support to CIO.

You set the standard for the expertise areas that you drive and are responsible for contributing to developing, innovating and safeguarding knowledge these expertise areas.

Actively aligns with the CIO and IT Leads on the delivery and priority of the work.

Oversees the budget and staff allocation within the area of responsibility.

Combines broad understanding of F&R strategy and being ‘hands-on’ and a reliable executor

Requirements

  • A University or master’s degree in business administration, or related discipline
  • Proven expert experience within IT organization, preferably in a large complex global (matrix) organisation.
  • Experience in a financial environment is a plus.
  • Excellent level of English.
  • Substantial general work experience together with comprehensive job-related experience.
  • Managerial experience of supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results with limited timeframes.
  • Highly appreciated team player collaborates easily with stakeholders.
  • Ability to take responsibility, steer strategy and realisations based on facts and data; managerial courage to question and make decisions.
  • Anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to drive operational excellence.
  • High resilience, the ability to deal with ambiguity and manage complexity.
  • Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
  • Expertise in driving and steering multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated track record of building and maintaining highly collaborative, flexible, and productive cross-organisation teams.
  • A naturally collaborative person, who listens and invests in others to achieve common goals and at the same time pushes, where needed, to break through existing routines.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, as well as outstanding negotiation and change management skills.
  • Ability to support yourself and other team members in development.
  • Customer focus and the ability to build trust with (senior) leadership.
