Internship – Customer Journey Expert

Internship | Tech | Student | Amsterdam | 2024-11-12 | REQ-10078239 | Salary 700 EUR based on 36 hours

Apply

As part of our cross-border team, you will work on automating processes using Artificial Intelligence and optimizing our customer journeys.
Our Tribe Enterprise Content & Automation is providing global services within ING for Content Delivery, Records Management, Content Interaction&Signing, and Intelligent Automation. With Intelligent Automation we are providing AI-enabled solutions to automate processes and extract data from content. For instance when a customer requests a loan to buy a house, our technology can capture the data in a salary slip that is needed to determine the proof of income.

Role and responsibilities
As Customer Journey Expert, you will be part of the cross-border team that is building models for data extraction. A Customer Journey Expert knows how to offer our customers the very best, most consistent experience possible.

We are looking for a candidate that lives in the Netherlands, has good Dutch and English skills and can support us with updating our internal communication channels. We deliver a number of important digital services and many departments need to be updated about our services through these channels.

Next to that we need you to support us in creating extraction models where a lot of labelling is required. That means in practice that you use an existing tooling in which documents are shown on screen, and for those documents you need to select (or ‘label’) certain data fields that have to be extracted. This is a very important part of our activities; proper labelling can lead to successful projects!

  • You will receive a training on the technologies used.
  • You will be part of the daily rituals like the stand-up, refinements and reviews.
  • You will help to train the algorithms with samples so the accuracy of the model will increase (no coding skills required).
  • You will be involved in the business analysis that is needed to reach end-2-end Straight Through Processing of the overall process.

How to succeed

To take on this challenging and rewarding opportunity, you:

  • Are a student with an interest in AI technology,
  • Have high ambition and energy level,
  • Have good writing skills,
  • Have excellent Dutch and English language skills.

Rewards and benefits
This is a great opportunity to train with highly skilled people who are experts in their field. You’ll do a lot and learn a lot – not only about your specialist area and the bank, but also about yourself and whether this type of environment is right for you. You’ll also benefit from:

  • Internship allowance
  • Your own work laptop
  • Hybrid working to blend home working for focus and office working for collaboration and co-creation
  • You will be part of a group of interns within ING and will receive overall onboarding and guidance
