ING is seeking for a tech-savvy, proactive and enthusiastic intern HBO Rechten to join our Corporate Legal Operations team (“CLO team”). As a part of the Corporate Legal Affairs department, you will be at the very heart of ING, supporting essential corporate housekeeping activities, powers of attorney and ING wide colleagues.
The Corporate Legal Operations team
The Corporate Legal Operations team (“CLO team”) at ING is a vibrant group of 5 paralegals and 5 functional application managers/project management support colleagues. We thrive in a highly dynamic, international and challenging environment, collaborating with various departments across all levels and geographies. Our team is responsible for procedural legal activities, corporate housekeeping of Dutch ING legal entities and issuance of powers of attorney and internal guarantees. We also provide program management support to ING wide policies for the legal structure and powers of attorney as well as managing several legal applications. These include BrightFlag for invoice handling, Eagle for ING’s legal structure, MyPRS for the registration of Powers of Attorney, iManage for document management and Sherpany for facilitating board meetings. Responsibilities
As intern in the CLO team, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Support the corporate housekeeping of ING’s Dutch legal entities, i.e., drawing up shareholders resolutions
- Register data and improve data-quality in various internal and external tools, like Eagle, MyPRS, Dutch Chamber of Commerce and AFM
- Assist reviewing and organizing issuance of Powers of Attorney and internal guarantees
- Support ING colleagues worldwide with questions about the legal structure and requests from supervisory authorities
- Organise legalization of documents
