ING is seeking for a proactive and enthusiastic functional application manager to join our Corporate Legal Operations team (“CLO team”). As a part of the Corporate Legal Affairs department, you will be at the very heart of ING, providing essential user support for various applications and driving application and process improvements.
The Corporate Legal Operations team
The Corporate Legal Operations team (“CLO team”) at ING is a vibrant group of 5 paralegals and 5 functional application managers/project management support colleagues. We thrive in a highly dynamic, international and challenging environment, collaborating with various departments across all levels and geographies. Our team is responsible for procedural legal activities, corporate housekeeping, program management support, and managing several legal applications. These include BrightFlag for invoice handling, Eagle for ING’s legal structure, MyPRS for the registration of Powers of Attorney, iManage for document management, Sherpany for facilitating board meetings and MS Power Platform to support various processes. Roles and responsibilities
As a Functional application manager in the CLO team you will have the following responsibilities:
User Support: Guide and assist colleagues in using various applications.
Application Manager: Oversee the functional management of applications and configure reports.
Incident Management: Address incidents promptly, ensuring thorough follow-up and clear communication.
Resource Optimization: Develop and enhance supporting material, such as Q&A documents, Viva Engage content, and instructional videos.
Continuous Improvement: Initiate and drive improvements in applications and data quality.
Feature Management: Maintain a backlog of features and align priorities with stakeholders.
Problem Solving: Translate inquiries from users into practical features and solutions.
Global Implementation: Support the further worldwide implementation of BrightFlag.
Collaboration: Work closely with external IT-suppliers, ING TECH and ING colleagues globally.
Mailbox Management: Manage the shared mailbox, ensuring timely and organized responses.

Further you have
A relevant bachelor's or master's degree, e.g. in Industrial Engineering & Management.
1-3 years working experience in functional application management, preferably in a corporate environment.
Fluent in English, both verbal and writing. And preferably in Dutch too.
Proactive, analytical, support-oriented and positively critical attitude.
Socially skilled team player, with the ability to prioritise.
Ability to quickly navigate amongst applications and processes.
