We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Financial Markets Infrastructure (FMI) Change Lead to oversee and drive critical FMI changes within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial markets infrastructure, regulatory requirements, and the ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead FMI Releases

  • Oversee and lead annual FMI releases, including T2 (TARGET2), CHAPS (Clearing House Automated Payment System), CLS (Continuous Linked Settlement), and other critical financial market infrastructures.

  • Ensure seamless implementation of changes and updates to FMI systems.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Manage and coordinate yearly attestations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure that FMI systems and processes are updated accordingly.

Project Management

  • Lead end-to-end project management for FMI changes, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.

Stakeholder Management   

  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, financial institutions, and internal departments.

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure project success.

Risk Management

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with FMI changes.

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies and contingency plans.

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of FMI systems and processes.

  • Stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CFA) are a plus.

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial markets infrastructure, with a proven track record of leading complex change projects.

  • In-depth knowledge of financial market infrastructures such as T2, CHAPS, CLS, EBA and related regulatory requirements.

  • Strong project management skills with experience in managing large-scale projects.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
