Roles and responsibilities 

As a Data Analyst Migrations at the Tribe Business Lending, you will play an important role in system migrations impacting our data environment, this helps ING comply with the latest standards and accelerated digitization. You will analyze how and where the migration will impact our DataMart and the linked reports (PowerBI/Cognos). You will create data mapping from the old to the new system. You will align with the project team responsible for the migration and with the data engineers who will perform the changes in the DataMart. You will prepare queries together with the data engineers and you are responsible for testing the output. Next to this you will be responsible for performing changes to the impacted reports.

Your work environment

As a Data Analyst, you will be part of the Tribe Business Lending Netherlands. In scope are business lending customers from Self-employed to Mid Corporate, and Private Banking mainly for Commercial Real Estate. You support our purpose: “Focus on easy, smart and personal End-to-End business lending journeys”. We empower entrepreneurs to stay a step ahead with easy, smart and personal business lending services. You will be working in an Agile environment by being a member of a multidisciplinary team of 8 to 9 specialists. Your colleagues will have a background in Process management, IT, Data Analytics/Management in the business and risk domain. You work closely with the colleagues from Sales, Pricing, Operations, Credit Risk and Finance.

We are looking for a colleague who is organized, is good at keeping the overview and can easily see connections. You are good at performing analysis to be able to set the right requirements. You have an eye for detail and are good in documentation. You like working in a team and aren’t afraid of complex environments.

As a Data Analyst, you will also need:

  • Master’s degree in Mathematics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or alike, and/ or equivalent experience of 3-5 years within data reporting & statistics.
  • You are analytically strong and are a star in assessing and solving problems, making analyses, and sharing results with impact
  • You have experience with querying languages (e.g., SQL, SAS), dashboarding tooling (e.g., Cognos and PowerBI), data mapping and preferably with data migrations
  • Affinity or experience with data migrations
  • Communicatively strong, team player and taking initiative and ownership
  • English (verbal and written) and hold current residency in the Netherlands. Dutch language knowledge is a pre
