ING is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Business Analyst to strengthen the Corporate Legal Operations team (“CLO team”) in Amsterdam. As a part of the Corporate Legal Affairs department, this role is at the very heart of ING and offers various process improvement and digitalization challenges and opportunities.

The Corporate Legal Operations team

The Corporate Legal Operations team (“CLO team”) consists of 5 paralegals and 3 functional application managers/project management support colleagues. The team operates in a highly dynamic, international and challenging environment and collaborates with a wide variety of departments on all levels and in all geographies. The Corporate Legal Operations team is responsible for procedural legal activities, corporate housekeeping, program management support and functional application management of various legal applications. These applications include Eagle for ING’s legal structure, MyPRS for the registration of Powers of Attorney, iManage for document management, Sherpany for facilitating board meetings and MS Power Platform to support various processes. Collaboration is key for our team. We are always looking for opportunities to further improve our processes and way of working.


Roles and responsibilities

As Business Analyst in the CLO team, you will:

  • Analyse processes of the current situation (AS IS) and define the requirements for the future optimized situation (TO BE).

  • Support and guide colleagues towards the TO BE.

  • Functionally manage applications and support users.

  • Drive change and innovation within the legal department of ING.

  • Be the linking pin and closely work together with various stakeholders: ING TECH, ING’s robotics team, external IT-suppliers, ING colleagues and (senior) management.

  • Keep up to date with new technology in the field of efficiency and effectivity.

We are looking for someone with the following mind-set and approach:

  • Stakeholder management and engagement: Act as an expert to the legal departments and pro-actively liaise and educate colleagues/users.

Required skills and experience:

  • A relevant bachelor's or master's degree, e.g. in Industrial Engineering & Management.

  • 1-3 years working experience in business analyses and functional application management, preferably in a corporate environment.

  • Fluent in English, both verbal and writing. And preferably in Dutch too.

  • Proactive, analytical, tech-savvy and a positive critical attitude.

  • Executer: turning ideas into actual implementations.

  • A socially skilled team player who can perform under pressure, prioritise and quickly navigate amongst several topics.
