Role and responsibilities

We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Intern to join our team and contribute to our Knowledge Management initiatives. You will work in the Business Control Office team, which is an independent team within Global HR. As an intern, you will work closely with our HR professionals and gaining practical experience in various HR functions. You will be involved in implementing Knowledge Management within the whole HR domain of ING – in global and local countries. In this internship you will assist with:

  • Performing assessment, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement on the current knowledge landscape within HR
  • Creating standardized templates for HR processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency
  • Supporting the development of test scenarios based on functional requirements, contributing to process enhancements
  • Supporting the creation of Knowledge Management dashboard by using Power BI
  • Supporting various meetings, calls, reporting, project coordination activities, and project reporting.

How to succeed

To take on this challenging and rewarding opportunity, you’ll need:

  • Master or Bachelor (third-year bachelor) student with a strong interest in Human Resources / Process Improvement / Knowledge Management / Non-financial Risk
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Enjoy learning new things and willing to take on new tasks
  • Familiar with Ms. Office (Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, Ms. PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented, dynamic and changing environment
