We are looking for an intern to join the HR Academy team within our Strategy and Analytics Team!

We are a young team, rapidly evolving our HR function to the next level of performance across all our countries. Our mission is to build an HR function aimed to create value and generate positive impacts for our business domains and for our employee. In order to do so, we are accountable for multiple transformational effort impacting our HR community across the globe with the mission also to make all people related decisions in ING data-driven.

The HR Academy specifically focus on equipping our HR professionals (more than 1.400 employees across than more than 35 countries) with the skills, the knowledge and the mindset they need to deliver on our people vision, on ING business expectations and on our employee value proposition.

The HR Academy

The HR Academy was established in 2018 and has made considerable achievements since launching, including the development of multiple learning programs, digital and face-to-face learning offerings and dedicated development interventions targeting the different HR roles and our HR leadership team as well.

Our objective: We leverage on best talent and learning practices to develop products and solution that can help our HR professionals to constantly develop themselves. By building a strong HR expertise which gives them an ongoing sense of our HR function’s purpose and objectives in connection to our business strategic objectives.

  • Ensure a proven link with our investment to business performance and impact
  • Ensure we build our solution by leveraging on the best learning practices, by having a strong and proactive collaboration with our CoEs and by collaborating with the best learning providers (internal or externals).

Job Overview

We are excited to offer you an internship in the HR Academy team at ING. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of learning and to know more about HR skills and capabilities.

As an intern, you will be responsible for supporting the team in a variety of ways. You will work closely with the team to run our training, to develop reports about attendance and to maintain updated our HR Academy web page.

Key Responsibilities

Specifically, in the intern role, you will be responsible for activities related to supporting the daily work of the HR Academy team. The main activities you would be involved would be:

  • Supporting the team in creating modules and sessions in ILC
  • Take in charge the training management (send invitations, track attendance, etc )
  • Supporting the team in keep updated the HR Academy Web Page
  • Supporting the team on operational activities

  

Requirements:

  • You understand the drivers of the ING business. You also have some knowledge of the internal Human Resources function and external Human Resources trends is preferred.
  • You have a consultancy style and you can work both independently and as part of a team.
  • You are strong in your analysis, planning & organization skills.
  • You are hands-on, proactive, resourceful, and willing to go the extra mile.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • The internship agreement will be for a period of 6 months.
  • Knowledge of the HR function’s key processes would be advantageous.
