Your role & work environment:

Our Finance Business Advice department is a management accounting department with a strong focus on advice. We act as financial conscience via the role of business partner for all departments within the Domestic Bank of ING in the Netherlands. You’ll work within the team that works for Private Individuals & Private Banking.
You will have your own senior business partners whom you are going to provide complex analyses and insights in their financial trends and performance. Provide the business of Private Banking and the Investment product your independent (strategic) advice. You report hierarchically to the Lead Finance Business Advice for Private Individuals & Private Banking in ING Netherlands.
Your key responsibilities:
- Understand the business drivers that impact financial results.
- Actively develop relationships within Private Banking and our Investments Tribe and act as a trusted advisor by supporting with analysis to steer the business.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance and provide insights to senior management.
- Support in planning of product related roadmaps – with robust business cases and clear outcome metrics.
- Drive alignment across functions to achieve enhanced profitability of the product – reporting, planning, processes, systems.
- Influence decision making of stakeholders.
- Optimize, simplify, and automate processes to improve predictability, transparency and speed.
- Be in the driving seat for projects directly impacting Finance.

We are looking for someone who proactively demonstrates all Orange Leadership Profile behaviour-related competencies and ING’s Orange Code behaviours at all times.
You have the following key competencies:
- Current residency in the Netherlands is required to be considered. Speaking the Dutch language ais a strong pre as a large part of your stakeholders are Dutch
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Data Science
- 7+ years of experience in financial planning, strategy or sales within Private Banking industry (BIG 4 consultancy background could also be a fit)
- Demonstrated stakeholder management and influencing skills
Furthermore you have/are:
