As Tribe Lead Payments, you will be responsible for Cards, Payments, Reporting & Acquiring strategy and steering the delivery in an end-to-end Agile way of working.

What are we looking for?

The Tribe Lead Payments is responsible to set the longer-term vision and help the squads to make it happen. In this role you are able oversee the value proposition for Payments in the Belgian market and implement this strategy. At the same time you ensure continuous alignment with the main customer segments and contribute to the segment strategy. You will play a key role to make sure that your teams can collaborate efficiently to reach this purpose.

Considering the complexity of the environment, we are looking for a hands-on, out-of-the box thinker, able to put a dot on the horizon for the teams to work towards, and at the same time willing and able to ensure short term delivery remains on track. Being a senior people & stakeholder manager is a must since you will collaborate on day-to-day basis with the other members of ING Belgium leadership team to define the vision and guide your teams in its implementation.

You also play an important role and represent ING in the Belgian interbank cooperation (Febelfin) and towards the regulator.

What you will do: 

As a Tribe Lead Payments, here are your most important responsibilities: 

  • Set a clear vision, define the roadmap to make it happen.
  • Together with the Leadership Team, guide the squads to live our purpose and deliver upon it
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience for our clients thanks to state-of-the-art journeys.
  • Strengthen the “ING way of working” while safeguarding the Orange Code as a role model.
  • Stimulate interaction between people, squads and stakeholders.

Tribe Lead Payments is an exciting position that requires strong skills and relevant experiences such as:

  • Extensive knowledge of Payments ecosystem.
  • Agile leadership to guide multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong background in Delivery within combined business and IT departments.
  • Ability to coordinate across tribes and even other ING countries.
  • Proven track record in defining, building & implementing a vision.
  • Expertise in building an outstanding customer proposition.
  • A balanced approach, taking into account perspectives and being a trusted partner towards various stakeholders.
  • Ability to simplify complex needs and drive operational excellence.
  • Owner of a master’s degree.
  • Excellent level of English.
