Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Senior Data Scientist to join our Advanced Analytics Team on the Customer Interactions and Monetization Tribe in Spain.

The responsibility of this team is to develop all type of models and analytical products in the field of Machine Learning and Big Data context for the whole Retail Organization. Our way of working mirrors our eagerness to innovate and the agile methodologies are on our daily basis.

Your key responsibilities:

As a Senior Data Scientist you will:

Positively be expected to take charge of end to end design and delivery of machine learning products across different departments in the bank. Which means all type of AI/ML  products such as credit risk decision making models, churn, recommendation systems, NLP, income/expenses estimations, data categorization, clustering and segmentation, pricing, OCR, etc…).

Co-create and assess business with the best predictive solution and work in a cross-functional and international team formed by business colleagues, data analyst, data scientists and engineers.

Ensure the designed product meets business requirements, brings the most to the clients and that it complies with our high coding and development standards.

We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Data Scientist used to work near to business, understand the challenges and who proposes solutions proactively, defining the appropriate analytical solution for each challenge.

Our dreamed candidate will be:

• A value oriented person
• With a degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or related field.
• Demonstrable experience in data analysis, visualization and building predictive models (specially supervised ones).
• Strong knowledge of languages such as SQL, Python and distributed computing tools (Spark, Hadoop, Hive, etc.) as well as machine learning libraries.
• Used to work with Git for peer review and code repositoring.
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly and comprehensibly even for non-technical audiences.
• Teamwork skills and ability to tackle complex challenges.

Buscamos un Senior Data Scientist con talento y entusiasmo para unirse a nuestro Equipo de Advance Analitycs en la Customer Interactions and Monetization Tribe.

Tus principales responsabilidades:

Como Senior Data Scientist:

Positivamente se espera que se encargue del diseño de extremo a extremo y la entrega de productos de aprendizaje automático a través de diferentes departamentos en el banco. Es decir, todo tipo de productos de IA/ML como modelos de toma de decisiones de riesgo crediticio, churn, sistemas de recomendación, NLP, estimaciones de ingresos/gastos, categorización de datos, agrupación y segmentación, precios, OCR, etc...).

Buscamos un Data Scientist apasionado y altamente cualificado, acostumbrado a trabajar cerca del negocio, entender los retos y que proponga soluciones de forma proactiva, definiendo la solución analítica adecuada para cada reto. 

Nuestro candidato/a soñado será:

- Una persona orientada a los valores
- Licenciada en matemáticas, estadística, informática o área afín.
- Experiencia demostrable en análisis de datos, visualización y construcción de modelos predictivos (especialmente supervisados). 
- Sólidos conocimientos de lenguajes como SQL, Python y herramientas de computación distribuida (Spark, Hadoop, Hive, etc.) así como de librerías de machine learning.
- Acostumbrado a trabajar con Git para revisión por pares y repositorio de código.
- Capacidad para comunicar conclusiones técnicas de forma clara y comprensible incluso para audiencias no técnicas.
- Habilidades de trabajo en equipo y capacidad para afrontar retos complejos.
