We are looking for a Product Manager for OnePAM’s platform team who is not scared of the cloud.

Our Platform Team

Our Platform Team is focused on delivery, monitoring, and support. Here your focus will be on implementing improvements to both the delivery and the monitoring process, as well as providing first and second line operational support for our APIs.

This is what you will do

  • OPS Direction: Drive the strategic direction of OnePAM. Make critical decisions that further improve the performance of our services.
  • Cloud Transition: Lead the transition from an on-prem system to a multi-deployed cloud-based solution. Reinvent the wheel from an OPS perspective.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with all DevOps squads of OnePAM, including teams in Netherlands, Romania, India, etc.
  • Team Lead: Your team is located in Amsterdam and consists of 6 engineers. You’ll be the squad’s representative.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain close relationships with stakeholders, including the OnePAM Platform Product Area Lead, IT Area Lead, architects, peers, users, and consumers.

Together with your fellow Product Managers you will develop the field of product management and help us make even better data-driven decisions.

What you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience as a product manager. Or 5+ years of experience as a technical lead or relevant professional experience in an agile environment and wants to further his/her career as a product manager.
  • Experience with transformation to Public Cloud.
  • Experience in operations of high criticality systems and IT platforms.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical thinking. The ability to diagnose and slice ambiguous problems and translate them into well-defined features.
  • Enough technical understanding to challenge engineers on their choices and approach.
  • Clear communication and prioritization skills to manage the expectations of several stakeholders. Communicating a change of plans or a different expectation does not keep you up at night.
  • Challenge the status quo to improve the current situation by experimenting, e.g., with different agile processes and data-driven techniques and metrics.
  • Being a team player that is open to the Agile way of working and grow the teams in their continuous improvement journey.
