Job Overview

As a Performance Reporting expert within the Business Partner Services, you will be responsible for strengthening the data driven way of working within the COO Finance. You will develop strong knowledge on the day-to-day processes, build data models and conduct data analysis. You ensure timely and adequate reporting the COO Finance Management team and COO finance stakeholders globally. Provide management information with a single source of truth to steer on our organizational ambitions, key performance indicators and improvements.

Working with a variety of ING stakeholders globally in a multi-cultural environment will offer you a the opportunity to support service delivery quality assurance of the COO Finance organization. You will report to the Head of Business Partner Services in Amsterdam, located in Amsterdam & Manila.

Key Responsibilities

Within your role, you are the driver to build data-based insights that support our the internal and external COO Finance stakeholders. For example, provide insight on the performance of the different departments on timely responding to questions, investigate what are the most common causes for incidents, or provide management with insights on how to improve our key performance indicators. We are looking for someone who can set priorities between different case studies, create visualisations as support of your analysis and translate the data into actional information.

You are to coordinate the different streams of performance reporting for COO Finance, collect the data on key performance indicators, and deliver valuable management information for decision making & steering.

Your key activities are:

Develop and maintain the data and dashboards for key performance indicators of COO Finance. Ensuring an approach between the different data streams and reports to ensure the possibility to cascade information into teams of COO Finance. Facilitate performance dialogue meetings with MT COO Finance and other senior stakeholder meetings if required. Log, monitor and steer on progress of agreed performance improvement actions. Develop and maintain a single point of truth reporting environment that holds different sets of data and information. Conduct investigations on a wide area of organisational topics and drawing up conclusions & advices with close collaboration of process and/or content experts.

As a Performance Reporting expert you have the following traits and experience:

  • University BSc Degree or equivalent;
  • 4 - 8 years’ experience in communication and/or customer experience;
  • Design and implement performance metrics;
  • Expert knowledge and experience with data gathering and visualization tools;
  • Collaboration skills and ability to work across both functional and geographical lines;
  • Pro-activeness and persuasiveness;
  • Excellent analytical skills and sound judgment;
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken);
  • Knowledge of Banking and IT acumen;
  • Translating data into meaningful actionable information for decision making.
