Background
The purpose of the COO Tech domain is to: Elevate transparency and control over which IT products and services are delivered and consumed throughout ING in a standardized manner, leading to faster, more cost-efficient, and increased usage of our growing technology platform.
The top structure of COO Tech consists of four subdepartments, with several teams operating under their leadership: 1) CTO Development & Support, 2) Change & Transformation, 3) Product & Service Management and 4) Reporting & Insights (CDO).
You report hierarchically to the Lead CTO Development and support
Key Responsibilities
The Organisational Development Consultant is responsible for:
- Supporting the CTO in his strategy execution and development of the CTO organisation
- Managing the CTO governance processes, including the ownership of the overall ITIL framework
As Organisational Development Consultant you will focus on Strategy Support and execution in three main areas:
- Support the CTO in decision making, and take on assignments on behalf of the CTO (e.g. preparing board / MT documentation)
- Coordinate strategy development and execution on internal business processes, organization (e.g. Must Wins, RfAs) and people (e.g. workforce strategy, staffing levels)
- Ownership of overall ING Tech governance (meeting charter, ITIL framework etc.
Requirements
Experience:
- 5-10 years’ experience in management/strategy consultancy (IT, business, or strategy)
- A demonstrable understanding of technology and operations in banking - Having in-depth knowledge of CTO departments, products, and network
- Working experience abroad is a plus
Skills:
- Strong data analysis, strategic frameworks, and technical problem-solving skills
- Can push things forward in a consistent and constructive manner.
- Results-oriented and stress resistant, eye for detail and fact based - Ability to create buy-in and engagement at all levels of the organization
- Proven ‘trusted advisor’ to senior management
- Excellent level of English, communication, and presentation skills
Education:
- Master’s degree and relevant certifications
