Oracle Database Engineer

• Have an extended knowledge of Oracle databases,
• Are able to work with Linux/Unix systems,
• Have an experience with pipelines architecture (CDAAS) like Azure pipelines,
• Are good with scripting languages (Shell, Python).

You’ll get extra points for:

• Ansible knowledge,
• Knowing SQL and PL/SQL well,
• Having experience with repository technology like GIT or similar version control system,
• Experience with Agile methodology.

 
Your Responsibilities:

• Operational Oracle Database Support: Provide expert support for Oracle databases on the EXA (Database as a Service) platform and virtual machines (VMs), ensuring seamless operations,
• Standby Support: Be a reliable point of contact for standby support, ensuring our databases are always up and running,
• Performance Tuning: Utilize your skills to fine-tune database performance, enhancing speed and efficiency,
• Enhance Reliability: Implement innovative solutions to boost the reliability and stability of our database services,
• Customer Support: Use your platform knowledge to assist customers, helping them get the most out of our services,
• Knowledge Sharing: Empower our consumers by sharing your expertise, helping them become more self-sufficient and confident in managing their databases.
