We are looking for you, if you:

  • Are a skilled Oracle Database Administrator with passion for learning new technologies,
  • Have experience with database administration tasks such as High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR), performance tuning, backups, restores, and recoveries,
  • Speak English at least at B1 level,
  • Have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills,
  • Can communicate effectively and efficiently,
  • Are open to new ideas, bring fresh perspectives to the table, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment.

You will get extra points for:

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus,
  • Azure DevOps/GIT,
  • Oracle Enterprise Manager knowledge,
  • Comfortable working with databases in private cloud (Oracle DBaaS) and eager to expand your expertise in cloud-based database solutions,
  • Demonstrating expertise with Oracle database tools and features like Golden Gate, Data Guard , Data Pump, RMAN and experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting,
  • A proven track record of working with monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g., ELK, Grafana, Prometheus),
  • Scripting experience with one or more scripting languages or automation solutions (Ansible, Bash, Python, or PowerShell) to automate routine database tasks,
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and an understanding of system reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance,
  • Experience in managing security requirements.

Your responsibilities:

  • Support for internal database migration projects,
  • Taking care of capacity planning / backups / documentation / monitoring,
  • Collaborate closely with other squads and consumers, ensuring that the solutions you deliver are scalable, future-proof, and meet the needs of the business,
  • Continuously improve database processes through automation, helping to optimize performance and reliability,
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and database solutions, always seeking opportunities for innovation,
  • Performance tuning to optimize database performance,
  • Oracle Expertise: Understanding of Oracle internals and architecture (including database optimization),
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve database-related issues promptly.
