Our tech capabilities remain the core of our business, with more than 1500 colleagues active in Data Management, Touchpoint Channels & Integration, Core Banking, and Global Products.

We enjoy a flexible way of working and a highly collaborative environment, where fair and constructive feedback is encouraged.

For us, impact isn't a perk. It's the driver of our work.

We are guided and rewarded by a shared desire to make the world a better place, one innovative solution at a time. Our colleagues make it their job to do impactful things and they love doing it in good company. Do you?

The Mission

The Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Project has the aim to digitally transform the value proposition and service model offered to our Business Banking clients.

The Technical Business Analyst has to clarify the technical solution requirements within multiple projects (squads). In this role, you will work closely together with the domain/enterprise architect, technical leads, Product Owner, and other Feature Engineers, by contributing to the tech strategy & vision within the customer domain for Retail and Business Banking.

Our feature squads are able to fulfil internal consumer needs in a one-stop-shop-way, by understanding the customer journey, changing the API, updating the front end, and fully productizing the new product feature.

Your day to day:

Even if you’ll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our office’s garden, your day will be quite similar when comes to tasks. Here are your daily responsibilities:

  • Partnering with the stakeholders, Product Lead and peers (representatives of other squads) to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value.

  • Providing the purpose, context and direction to the team from both business and technical point of view, always taking into consideration the product goal and mission.

  • Together with other stakeholders (architect, Tech Lead and Product Lead), convert market developments and customer feedback into concrete and usable capabilities for ING with a delivery roadmap.

  • Contributing alongside with the IT architects in the creation and review of the design decisions

  • Translate the functional and non-functional requirements into Feature blueprints considering the Architecture design decisions, making the features “ready for implementation” and breakdown into user stories.

  • Manage cross-squad dependencies to ensure an end-to-end delivery and support them in the delivery process.
