We are looking for you if you:

  • Have 10+ year experience working for global financial services with demonstrable success in leading transformation program and cross functional change, 3+ years in leading financial crime compliance change programs, at least 2 of which in Transaction Monitoring
  • Have 3+ years people management experience, leading people by example, stimulating innovation, agility and excellence at the same time facilitating balanced work environment helping people thrive and grow
  • Have hands on experience in translating functional objectives into workable Strategies, Operating Models and Technology Roadmaps preferably in Transaction Monitoring
  • Understand Retail or Wholesale AML risk coverage; current market and financial crime regulatory conditions, incumbent and emerging technologies, key drivers of TM effectiveness and efficiency, financial industry challenges; financial institution customer life cycle
  • Build compelling, practical recommendations, solving complex problems and design issues, facilitate clear decision making through excellent communication
  • Excel at planning and driving execution through the right mix of agile and waterfall methods, building result focused project environment with sufficient control levels
  • Are motivated by the opportunity to make a difference, drive improvement and value, have entrepreneurial mindset, inspire others through optimism and relentless focus on progress
  • Can navigate complex storylines and bring others onboard, building alignment across broad range of stakeholder seniority levels, styles and cultures
  • English proficiency is a must (C2)

  • Professional certification incl. AML/CAMS, Project Management, Process Improvement
  • Have track record of implementing Transaction Monitoring Technology related to Alert Generation and Case Management

Your responsibilities:

  • Support Head of TM and TM Transformation in driving strategic TM thought leadership, facilitating continuous improvement and innovation efforts through hackathons, proof of concept, participation in industry forums etc.
  • Support Head of TM and TM Transformation in setting change objectives and roadmap through ongoing dialogue with TM, Global Financial Crime and Fraud Prevention Leads, Compliance and Business stakeholders
  • Set change execution standards, governance, controls, overseeing adherence and effectiveness
  • Oversee effective change roadmap implementation, prioritization and change management, driving inception of new initiatives and solving major blockers for ongoing ones
  • Drive major strategic programs within TM domain
  • Directly lead the TM Transformation CoE and team of global change leads, securing sufficient capacity and prioritization of efforts, liaising with broader transformation teams within hubs and other functional lines

We are responsible for monitoring, investigating, detecting and preventing financial crimes and fraudulent activities globally at ING. To be able to perform our gatekeeper role to the financial system we use innovative technology and data analytics to help identify suspicious activities.   • Functionally, as TM Transformation CoE Lead, you will be part of the Transaction Monitoring Service. TM Service, part of the Global FCFP defines and implements global standard for Monitoring our Customer’s Transactional Activity focusing on implementing effective and efficient risk coverage as well as global investigative operations. We operate across 3 hubs in Poland, Slovakia and Philippines and service all ING banks.  
  • Hierarchically, as part of ING Hubs, your will join Business Intelligence, Management and Transformation Area, a diverse group of experts who deliver TM Oversight, Business Intelligence and Transformation capabilities to our central TM Services Functional Line. You will have excellent global visibility
  • Your role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Lead KYC Process Design”
