ING Domestic Bank works in accordance with the Agile philosophy. We do this mainly because it allows us to further improve the service to our customers. But we think it is just as important that our employees enjoy their work even more and are given the space to get the best out of themselves every day.

The Credit Risk Transaction Approval & Advice (TA&A) teams of ING Domestic Bank are responsible for managing credit risks of customers within ING Netherlands (including Private Banking, Personal banking, Mortgages, SME, and Midcorporates). These teams are indispensable within the lending process.

What are you going to do?

The TA&A Portfolio clients team focuses specifically on ING's business banking customers up to EUR 5 million. In this role, in addition to an independent credit risk management fiat mandate, you have an important role as a representative of TA&A in projects related to the further development of data driven (automated) decision making. In your daily work you have to manage a diverse stakeholder landscape that ranges from Business Advisors, Relationship Managers, Lending Specialists, Customer Journey Experts, Product Owners and CRM Business.

The experience you gain while assessing individual credit applications is valuable for other teams within ING Bank as well as important input for data driven decision making. You take it on and make it happen. Our team consists of 13 Financial Risk Officers from different backgrounds. We work from our office in Amsterdam. Our team is customer-oriented, self-managing and flexible.

What does this ask of you?

To start with, it is important that you are creative in looking for solutions. You communicate openly and transparently, you have persuasiveness and you can contribute to renewing the current working method and processes.

In addition, we ask of you:

•           Fluency in Dutch, written and spoken

•           HBO / University level education

•           Relevant experience within banking in credit risk, lending or sales.

•           Strong expertise in data, data analysis and credit decision automation.

•           Availability of 36-40 hours per week.

Rewards and benefits

We want to make sure that it’s possible for you to strike the right balance between your career and your private life and reward our people with a generous benefits offer and employment conditions.
