Position:              Financial Market Operations Officer 

Reporting to:      Head of CSD

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Overview

Responsible for the day to day processing requirements of the function Performs various structured routine operational tasks in a standard work environment. Handles medium complex processes.  Understands the mission and vision of the company and how the department contributes to that. Works under supervision; receives instruction, guidance and direction from a senior team member. Acts in line with ING rules and policies.

Responsibilities

• Handling Local Application /Local Settlements/Local regulatory reporting
• Liaising and Handles with Front Office, Agent, Client and all other relevant parties to ensure the smooth processing of transactions
• Preparation of reports and statistical data for internal use in the aspects of volume count, control and management purposes
• Ensuring that the Bank’s and relevant regulatory procedures and controls are adhered to
• Performing ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time
• Understanding roles, authorities, responsibilities and obligations of compliance and conduct their business accordingly
• Understanding which of those are compliance related

What we’re looking for:

• 1-3 years of work experience in Financial Market Operations from Wholesale banking
• Fluent in English and Korean, both verbally and written;
• Ability to communicate well and work with people in different department at all levels;
• Willingness to learn
• Open minded and eagerness to challenge;
• Proficiency in MS Office; Excel, Word, Power Point
