COO Finance (COOF) is a global independent unit within ING’s COO domain, reporting into both the CFO and COO of ING. The mission of COOF is to enable excellence in Finance with real time business insights, using state-of-the-art technologies, optimal use of data and highly effective operations.

Your new role

Within the Circle Other Product Accounting Services you will work together within a team of high-valued experts in both Amsterdam (5 FTE) and Manilla (9 FTE). The team as a whole is responsible for the complete financial accounting and reporting process of the holding entities of ING, as well as a variety of SPVs, legacy run-off portfolio's and Wholesale Banking business products. 

This means an front-to-end responsibility starting with the accounting process, up until preparing regulatory reports, maintaining the internal control environment and preparing annual accounts. It is an all-round team within the COOF organization, acting similar to a local Finance function. Your contribution will be key to deliver accurate and timely figures to our stakeholders, drive continuous improvements and operational excellence. You will work closely together with the team in Manilla and manage your stakeholders within the business, Change, and local ING offices.

The team does not work on financial planning and budgeting, the team focusses solely on the financial accounting and reporting.

We are looking for someone with 5+ years of prior work experience in a banking environment, Big-4 or large financial institution, being related to statutory (IFRS) and/or regulatory reporting activities. Experience with internal control environment (SOx controls) is desired.

  • A salary tailored to your qualities and experience
