We’re looking for a Digitisation Lead Origination to join our Mortgages Tribe. Our Mortgages Tribe is responsible for driving the end-to-end performance of the mortgages business through development of a clear strategy; working collaboratively with all areas of the business to drive cross functional execution of this strategy.
You’ll report to the Product Area Lead Origination, Mortgages, where you’ll lead a high performing team with a focus on continually improving the application and settlement experience for mortgage customers including driving strategic technology projects which digitise and automate the mortgages origination experience end-to-end for customers.

What you’ll do
- Develop and oversee the implementation of the roadmap for a market-leading digital mortgage application process for new and existing customers.
- Collaborate with various teams (Sales, Marketing, Digital, Credit Risk, Tech, and Mortgages) to enhance digital origination journeys.
- Work with Broker Sales to optimise performance, sales efficiency, and incentives based on feedback.
- Partner with the Direct Channel team to enhance short-term opportunities.
- Collaborate with Contact Centre, Operations, and Customer Experience teams to analyse key customer moments and feedback for continuous product, process, and service improvements.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business, or Commerce.
- 7-10+ years of mortgage product and distribution experience.
- Experience leading product and customer journey improvements, including digitisation initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, product management, and/or digital acquisition and process digitisation for mortgage products.
- Ability to articulate strategy and set strategic direction, including prioritizing initiatives.
- Proven track record in managing complex issues and incident remediation.
- Extensive influencing, communication and feedback skills with diverse stakeholders (Credit Risk, Operations, Finance) and confident with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent people leadership capability, focused on building engaged, purpose-driven. teams and coaching experience with high-performing teams across locations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and creative thinker with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire teams, thrive in an agile environment, and ensure positive customer outcomes.
- Nice to have: Experience with quantitative and qualitative research techniques.
- Nice to have: Experience leading teams in Agile environments.
- Nice to have: Experience developing digital origination strategies and roadmaps for mortgages.
