Job Overview
Credit Risk Reporting & Data Distribution Circle under the Service Organization within COOR is looking for an experienced Data Analyst / BI Specialist with Credit Risk background in the banking industry to support in Data visualization and Reporting related projects.
We are looking for a candidate who is proficient and has proven experience in analyzing and visualizing data using BI Reporting Tooling, combined with background in Credit Risk. The candidate must have strong product management, communication, data analysis skills, experience in Data visualization, has attention for detail and performs well in a multi-national, fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
As a data analyst / BI Specialist in our team you will have the opportunity to interact with Senior management of ING locally and internationally who uses Credit Risk reports and dashboards created by multiple reporting teams to steer ING Bank’s portfolios and create the reports / dashboards which will be used by a wider Risk community.
You will support the reporting process by:
- Interacting and managing internal stakeholders and translating their reporting demands into data requirements.
- Exploring a centralized reporting tooling that is fit for the future.
- Supporting reports delivery and explorations for tool improvement.
- Embedding the knowledge and way of analyzing the data in the Risk organization;
In this process, you will work closely with (senior) staff at Risk and interact with business line teams in The Netherlands for specific demands. Successful candidates will drive process improvements and further improve ways of visualising Dashboards and reports.
Key Capabilities/Experience
Some of the key skills that will help you succeed:
- Experience in the banking industry, with a good understanding of credit risk processes.
- Affinity for technology and systems, having had experience working with or around enterprise software (either in a run or change environment).
- Expertise with data and data analysis, at least with Excel, ideally also with SQL/SAS/PBI.
- Ability to work on tasks and manage own time to meet deadlines.
- Skilled in communicating on complex topics and solutions and must be open to ideas from others.
- Comfortable working in in an international context.
- Transparent, flexible, and motivated to make every day a success.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 plus years of experience in a data/analytics oriented function;
- Knowledge and experience with data analysis and bank reporting (SAS Visual Analytics / Power BI / Cognos experience / Credit Risk is a plus);
- Critical mind-set with respect to what is delivered;
- Hands on mentality with regard to data;
- Have ability to cope with internal and external pressure;
- Have the ability to work remotely with the teams in Netherlands;
- Communicative, proactive, accurate and able to work with challenging deadlines;
- Manage expectations with stakeholders proactively;
- Be a good team player, able to contribute in a multi-cultural team;
- Fluency in English both written and verbal (work language).
