We are part of the ING HUBS organization which consists of servicing hubs around the globe.

In this position you will be working within the 1st Line of Defense (LoD) and will help ensure that ING entities stay in control of their 1st LoD non-financial risk management activities. This is a full-time position, based in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Responsibilities:

  • Work proactively with representatives and management of bank support functions and provide hands-on support in identifying control weaknesses, implementing new control standards
  • Participate on control execution for distinct business area, or provide support for control execution
  • Partner with our 2nd LoD colleagues in analyzing and understanding where risk and control weaknesses arise
  • Execute risk assessments and gap analyses with regards to the implementation of new control standards and/or new tooling and processes
  • Assist control owners in implementing solutions and controls that close and minimize any identified control weaknesses and gaps
  • Coordinate communication between controls owners and 2nd LoD colleagues with regards to key control testing

Please note that we have couple roles with different seniority opened in this department; your experience will be discussed during the interview.

Personality requirements and skills

  • 3+ years’ experience in risk management, compliance, internal controls, or audit setting
  • Working knowledge of risk assessments and controls implementation & testing
  • Experience with ORM/Compliance related processes
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving aptitude
  • Strong communication and influence skills and an ability to effectively interact across all levels of the organization
  • A flexible mindset and personality with capabilities to optimally function in fast changing environment
  • Fluent English written and spoken

Wage (gross)

  • 2 510 EUR/month
  • *By legal requirement we are providing the information about the basic wage component (minimum salary) for the advertised position. Based on your experience/profile, the final financial conditions will be the subject to discuss and negotiate at the personal interview, however, not less than above mentioned minimum salary component.
