CMA aims to capture opportunities in our clients’ boardrooms for high value-added fee and advisory services and improve internal alignments to accelerate the strategic ‘must-win’ on capital velocity.
Analyst Corporate Finance / Mergers & Acquisitions in Singapore
ING Corporate Finance has a team of over 200 professionals based in offices across Europe, Asia and the US. As a key area of growth globally for ING, ING Corporate Finance offers a one-stop-shop solution for Mergers & Acquisitions and Debt Capital Advisory. Our Corporate Finance team in Asia are based in offices across Singapore, Manila and Hong Kong. With our sector focused approach, we bring deep domain expertise across global industries such as TMT, Healthcare, Energy, Financial Institutions, and Transport and Logistics. As we further build our Corporate Finance capabilities across the APAC region, we are looking for enthusiastic individuals with the attitude and skillset to be part of a highly dynamic and driven advisory team.
Your Responsibilities
• Provide support for origination efforts across various sectors and countries, in particular supporting in the areas of preparing presentations, researching industry sectors and companies, and financial analysis
• Provide support for execution of Corporate Finance mandates.
− Support with project management and process control
− Gather and analyse information on relevant companies and sectors
− Primary support in valuation and financial analysis including developing and maintaining financial models, performing trading and transaction comparable analysis and benchmarking analysis
− Support in drafting presentation and marketing materials, such as teasers, information memoranda and management presentations
− Support in drafting process documentation
− Support in coordination of data room processes, administer Q&A logistics and follow up materials
− Liaise with client representatives to gather and organize information used in the execution of transactions
• Participate in recruiting and helping to organize training sessions for interns
• Maintain database of best practice materials and templates
• Assist in the cross-sell and promote other products / services of the bank, as appropriate, to customers. You liaise closely with colleagues in ING such as the Capital Markets and Advisory (CM&A) business area to deliver integrated solutions to ING’s clients.
Your Profile
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Business, Economics, Finance, or advance Mathematics with excellent results
• Ideally between 1-3 years of experience in Corporate Finance
• Knowledge in fundamental and market-oriented valuation methods
