As a Wholesale Banking trainee, you’ll play an active role in the dynamic, globe-straddling world of corporate banking. You’ll be doing essential work as a trusted advisor for big clients, on big deals.

Responsibility from day one
As a Wholesale Banking trainee, you’ll be thrown in at the deep end from day one. You’ll quickly familiarise yourself with our clients’ businesses and the sectors they operate in. Within weeks, you’ll be contributing analysis and recommendations that will inform important decisions.
There’s no instruction manual for the work we do. You’ll have the support of senior colleagues, but how you achieve your objectives is up to you. Along the way, you’ll learn the fundamentals of corporate financing deals. You’ll also master the art of negotiation and relationship management: skills that will benefit you for life.
