Financial Markets Client Control (FMCC) is a department within Financial Markets (FM) Business Services (part of ING Wholesale Banking). The department consists of a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Amsterdam and two execution locations in ING Hubs Bratislava and Manila that provide services to 30 countries worldwide. FMCC plays a major role in communication and became one of ING’s central contact points for FM Sales, Global Treasury, and Front Office desks.

The aim of these services is to ensure control throughout the client and counterparty life cycle (from on-boarding to exit and all processes in between) for FM, Group Treasury (GT), and ECM/DCM. FMCC works using ING’s One Agile Way Of Working principles.

Job Description

FMCC’s Management Information, Data, and Tooling (MDT)  team consist of self-steering teams and look for an individual with strong attention to detail, communication skills, problem solving ability, client oriented mindset, and someone who is coming up with own improvement’s idea. As a Client Profit & Loss (PnL) support expert:

  • You maintain contact with Financial Market and Global Treasury Front Office desks (Sales and/or Traders) via email and MS Teams channels and support income booking process for clients actively trading on Financial Markets
  • You are the primary contact for the global front office locations, Sales locations, ING Hubs locations, front office system support teams, IT developers, and business management
  • Hold responsibility for correct income booking process and income reporting by maintaining and supporting Saturn and Client PnL application and BI reporting tools
  • You cooperate with business and IT stakeholders and keep them informed about the progress of their request
  • You participate in FM related projects related to innovations and changes in a very dynamic environment
  • You assist Sales, Front Office desks and identify their needs, and detect potential technical and/ or functional issues in income reporting applying the experience and knowledge to diagnose; prioritize, advise, and resolve cases

Main roles and responsibilities:

As a ClientPnL expert:

  • You execute daily operational tasks related to client income reporting processes to ensure correct product and location income reporting
  • You are responsible for Saturn and ClientPnL tooling systems support, change, development epics/stories delivery and execution.
  • You are single point of contact for FMCC PMs/teams and business stakeholders in terms of tooling support & topics
  • You are expected to be proactive and take a lead addressing issues or removing impediments
  • You manage stakeholders and collect & address stakeholder feedback periodically (continuous service improvement)
  • You provide feedback to system owners and IT on tooling design, functionality, and performance and identify improvements for development.
  • Always ask yourself the questions, What is it that we do, Why are we doing it, and How are we doing it?
  • You are continuously looking to improve our way of working.

When accepting changes or new processes:

  • You are setting clear priorities together with the FMCC MDT lead
  • You estimate change impact in terms of capacity and knowledge and share this with the epic owner who is guiding the change
  • You make sure to capture and maintain a stories in AZURE backlog

Together with the epic owner and system owner, you pro-actively involve all stakeholders that are required for the realization of Epic.

Focus areas

As ClientPnL support expert, you are the gatekeeper for correct deal booking process and accurate FM income reporting.

As a ClientPnL expert, you:

  • Are the first point of contact for Sales and Front Office desks and
  • Pro-actively manage requests and communication with Front Office
  • You process and upload trade or finance file for reporting purposes

We are looking for

Competencies and experience:

  • Skilled in Excel / BI Solutions (PBI)
  • Experienced in communication with the clients
  • Previous experience with FO support or FM product knowledge
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written) and experienced in working in an international environment
  • Presentation skills

Wage (gross)1.800EUR/month

Based on your experience/profile, the final financial conditions will be the subject to discuss and negotiate at the personal interview, however, not less than above mentioned minimum salary component.
