We are looking for you, if you:
- Are a skilled Oracle Database Administrator (5+ years of experience in production environments) with passion for learning new technologies,
- Have experience with database administration tasks such as High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR), performance tuning, backups, restores, and recoveries,
- Are open to new ideas, bring fresh perspectives to the table, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment.
You’ll get extra points for:
- Comfortable working with databases in private (Oracle DBaaS) and eager to expand your expertise in cloud-based database solutions,
- Demonstrating expertise with Oracle database features like Data Pump, RMAN, and experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting,
- A proven track record of working with monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g., ELK, Grafana, Prometheus),
- Scripting experience with one or more scripting languages or automation solutions (Ansible, Bash, Python, or PowerShell) to automate routine database tasks,
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and an understanding of system reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
Your responsibilities:
- Support the full development life cycle for our database environments, which include 97+ databases, from refining user stories to monitoring software in production,
- Support the migration of databases from Oracle to PostgreSQL in cloud environments, while being open to exploring and implementing other database technologies as needed,
- Collaborate closely with other squads and consumers, ensuring that the solutions you deliver are scalable, future-proof, and meet the needs of the business,
- Continuously improve database processes through automation, helping to optimize performance and reliability,
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and database solutions, always seeking opportunities for innovation.

The Process Automation Platform/One Pega Platform provides a standard and easy way to digitize processes and providing process automation capabilities like workflow management using Pega BPM software.
