We are looking for you, if you have:
- IT Operations/Support experience combined with analytical skills to identify root causes in incidents (data, technical, functional),
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and repositories (Git),
- Knowledge of Python, Shell,
- Experience working with message queue / bus tooling such as IBM MQ, Apache Camel, Kafka, et al.,
- Knowledge of RHEL 8/9 or similar Linux,
- Experience working with certificates / encryption technology,
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools and their concepts,
- Experience or affinity with IT Risk & Security concepts,
- Strong desire to automate repetitive tasks,
- Thoroughness in testing and validating configurations and optimizations,
- Education at Master level with a background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
English level - B2/C1
You'll get extra points for:
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodology,
- Familiarity with (virtual) databases such Oracle,
- Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, Openshift et al.),
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, pipeline and Ansible skills,
- Affinity with Financial Markets products (Exchange Listed, et al.) is a plus.
Your responsibilities:
- Derive incident management and root cause analysis recommendations into improvement points for the platform,
- Work with the latest (automation) tooling with a strong focus on performance, reliability, observability and security,
- Touch base with your team lead and senior engineers to update them on your latest team project milestone achievements,
- Implement an automation for your team’s new data movement process,
- Discuss a product concept within Financial Markets from data platform perspective,
- Finish your stories on vulnerability and technical state risk & security controls on the platform as per ING Information Security Management Policy,
- Apply CI/CD concepts using Azure DevOps as well as remote operations on the platform for a product update,
- You sign up for a training on the latest developments in ING’s IT, standard patterns and strategic solutions to update your knowledge,
- You meet with your team to gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback from your product manager to improve your services,
- You hand over your standby to your team mate and update them on any open issues.
