We are looking for you, if you:
have experience as engineer or some other technical background in IT,
are passionate about working with people and developing talents of others make you fulfilled,
have independent and pro-active mind-set,
have at least 1 year of experience in team management,
have affinity with data domain,
.are able to combine development or engineering engagement with managing people.
English level - B2+.
You'll get extra points for:
experience with development of complex analytics platform(s),
sound knowledge of Data, Analytics and/or AI domains,
experience with software development,
knowledge on Data Governance,
experience and knowledge on agile way of working,
professional certification related with data management and/or AI,
strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities,
experience with Public Cloud services.
Your responsibilities:
sharing knowledge and making sure team members have appropriate competencies and skills,
planning, coaching, assessing and professionalizing your team members,
recruiting and onboarding new talents,
chosen level of contribution and engagement in engineering and product devlivery,
ensuring the highest quality of team results,
interaction and relationship management with stakeholders,
Information about the squad:
Data Platforms area is an international environment with almost 70 (growing) highly qualified professionals, working in more than ten product teams and four chapters. Our expertise lies in the development and management of Data and Analytics Platforms. We are participating in development of ING Global Platforms related with analytics, big data, data science and data governance as well as development of Engineering Journey platforms (IT4IT). Our platforms operate on Private, Public and Hybrid environments. Our squads autonomy and end to end responsibility is key for us, so we support Data Ops, SRE and Agile principles.
The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Chapter Lead Engineer III”.
