Mission
Within the Compliance Centre of Excellence (CoE), several teams of Compliance Officers are dedicated to support the global Compliance function on various Compliance related activities to ensure the Compliance risks are adequately managed. Conflict Of Interests & Market Abuse topics are handled as global service under Control Room and Personal Account Dealing department.
Your day to day
The above translates to the following (non-exclusive) set of Compliance framework activities:
- Assess details of reported deals by the business and help manage information barriers for deals containing Confidential Information and/or Inside Information;
- Identify (potential) Conflicts of Interest, based on the information registered by the business units, assess adequacy on the existing measures and propose additional mitigating measures, where necessary, in line with the Mandatory Instructions for Information Barriers, The policy against Market Abuse and Conflicts of Interest Policy;
- Maintenance and administration of permanent insiders;
- Maintenance of global lists (i.e., restricted lists);
- Personal Account trading clearance;
- Providing advice/support on topics under Conflicts of Interest & Market Abuse, trainings/walkthrough sessions on the Conflict of Interest system functionalities under the oversight and knowledge of the Compliance CoE Bucharest and support in drafting different internal framework documents, at stakeholder’s request;
- Collaborate with the local Compliance Officers to determine specific actions to be taken addressing local laws and regulations (if applicable);
- Provide advice, guidance and support on regulatory issues as required;
- Draft reports and management information for the businesses as well as the Compliance function.
What you bring to the team
We are looking for motivated new colleagues who has the following characteristics:
- University degree in Economics;
- Proven knowledge and expertise in the specific Compliance domain - Nice to have;
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills who can operate in a diversified and multicultural work environment;
- Strong and effective communication skills – fluent in written and spoken English;
- Excellent analytical skills as well as a keen eye for detail to e.g., identify and articulate Compliance related aspects.
