What does the Human Resources People Services Team do in ING?
The People Services team in Human Resources focusses on the day to day governance and delivery of HR services to our staff ranging from onboarding through the lifecycle of the employee journey.
What would you be doing?
As an intern, you will provide support to the People Services function in all HR risk administration related matters.
The work will cover HR services for the Asia region such as;
Support the People Services team in the administration and management of HR Systems and Processes across Tier 1 and Tier 2 activities across employee queries, onboarding, off boarding and other events in the HR lifecycle
Assist with driving the review the maintenance and documentation of HR related operating procedures and policies as required
Support HR projects such as HR Administration efficiency and onboarding projects for ING Asia
Perform some HR reporting
What qualities and skills are we looking for?
We are looking for a passionate individual who meets the following criteria:
You should have legal work rights in the country of internship.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable with handling large volumes of information
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Able to visualize and understand the end to end of a process
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
Reasonable level of savviness wth IT to use HR systems and data to be efficient in work
Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Resourceful and willingness to learn
Previous internship in HR or a major in HR would be of added value
What would you gain from this internship?
Real world hands on experience with day to day HR administration activities in the banking and financial services industry plus witness the migration of tasks to globalized HR processes and systems.
