Department overview

  • Be part of a team which specialises in communications and creating brand experience for ING APAC

  • The team focuses on internal and external communications, media engagements, branding, events, marketing and content generation

  • Interns in the team can expect to work hard, move fast and learn constantly as they cycle through various marketing and communications specialisation

Duties and responsibilities

  • Support the APAC Communications and Brand Experience team with hands on executions in project deliverables

  • Assist the team with the day to day implementation of marketing, communications, events and brand campaigns

  • Participate in regular brainstorming sessions for the development of communications initiatives

  • Assist with developing content in various formats including digital

  • Assist with the conceptualization and execution of brand campaign for internal and external communications

  • Manage timelines and processes for assigned briefs and projects

  • Perform administrative, data entry-related and logistical tasks

What are the skill and qualification requirements of the role?

  • Undergraduate in mass communications/public relations/marketing/journalism

  • Passionate and ideally with some experience in communications, branding and marketing events.

  • Strong copywriting skills, able to write for different formats and styles

  • Good digital skills including experience with videography and creative artwork designs

  • Broad understanding of digital content creation

  • Eye for design, ability to do creative designs and basic graphic editing

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and/or video editing software is a bonus

  • Go-getting attitude with strong organisational abilities

  • Good interpersonal skills with good written and verbal communication

  • Good team player, proactive and willing to contribute to the team

What are the additional skills you could bring to the table? -

  • Past internships in marketing or communications

  • Portfolio of past projects/campaigns worked on and writing samples
