Over the last 3 years, our Tech Risk team and capability has grown under the experience and Leadership of our current HO Tech Risk and Governance. Now, as we move forward with the next 3 years of large scale growth and Transformation, an opportunity has arisen for a new Leader to take over our Tech Risk Practice and progress to the next level.
What you will do
- Own, oversee and continue to improve the Tech Risk profile, leading and managing activities that ensure ING Australia’s Technology team operates within our Risk appetite.
- Set strategic direction for Tech Risk and Control during a time of growth and challenge.
- Oversight of both technology and data risk for the organisation
- Be a Risk Change Leader, uplifting and embedding pro-active, efficient risk culture and practices in Technology
- Manage resources in Sydney and two key off-shore hubs.
- Build effective stakeholder relationships with BU heads, Tribe Leads, product teams and Line 2 teams.
- Grow and develop your Leaders and overall Risk team capability.
- Steer and oversee compliance to local regulatory requirements and ING global compliance policies.
- Oversee execution of key controls testing.
- Prepare and present papers for NFR committees, Board and APRA
- Continuously improve processes and controls to ensure ING Technology is ‘Future-Fit’
What we are looking for
- Proven experience in a Senior Technology Risk Leadership role
- Management of offshore resources/deliverables/governance
- Exposure and capability operating in multiple time zones with global teams
- Preferably, competence in leading Risk and Change in an agile operating model
- Ideally, a depth of technical knowledge, preferably with some technical exposure to public cloud (Azure or similar)
- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements in relation to technology and data in financial services
- Leader of Leaders, with the ability to prioritise conflicting priorities and dependencies.
- Skill in navigating and resolving ambiguity in a period of significant transformation and change.
- Breadth and depth, with a comfort in a hands-on SLT role.
