A day in the life of an IT Release Process Engineer

• You will coordinate and support the E2E release process through advice and verifications of standards, company policies and good practices (Canary release, Blue/Green, Readiness status, …) to deliver reliable products to customers.
• You will propose, develop and/or apply automatic solutions to simplify and improve the release management through the implementation of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to streamline the release process and improve efficiency.
• You will create detailed data analytic reports and monitor them to provide insights and recommendations to optimize the management of IT changes and to implement in production.
• You will organize training sessions and workshops to equip DevOps squads with the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully follow up the IT release process.

• Achieving successful the implementation of the IT Release Management in the teams and ensuring the automation of it to simplify the release process and improve the reliability of IT changes.
• Applying analytical skills to interpret data and metrics, making informed decisions that enhance the quality and reliability of the release of software’s.
• Communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment on release goals and expectations.
• Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability, quickly responding to changes and challenges in a dynamic development environment.

Your competencies

• A bachelor’s in computer science or related field
• Knowledge in Azure DevOps, ServiceNow
• Experience in CI/CD processes and related tools
• IT Release management experience.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Knowledge of scripting language (bash, yaml, python,..)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
• Ability to work independently & in a team environment.
