IT Program Architect

We are seeking an IT Program Architect to join our team to support the implementation of a major multi year implementation program. The objective of this large program is to replace most of the systemic back-end systems. The ideal candidate will assist the Lead Program Architect in identifying and managing key program dependencies and in supporting decision-making processes with senior stakeholders. This role requires a good understanding of banking business strategy and technology trends. Next to this important mission, the candidate will also support domain driven analysis in specific areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Implementation: develop roadmap in alignment with business and IT strategy, identifying key dependencies.
- Architectural Constraints: Identify architectural constraints based on technical and organizational requirements.
- Design decisioning : identify various scenarios to support key architectural design decision making.
- Policies: Work in accordance with internal policies and standards, in alignment with ING corporate reference architectures.
- Progress Monitoring and Reporting : support the program PMO office in monitoring progress and identifying/solving roadblocks.
- Domain architecture : Conduct domain-driven analysis in specific areas, such as customer data and core banking.
Qualifications:
- Education: University Degree in Computer Science, Business, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: Proven experience on complex projects that deliver enterprise business outcomes.
- Skills:
- Able to support decision making in alignment with ING corporate reference architecture and overall IT strategy.
- Familiar with Agile and SAFe methodologies.
- Familiar with API and event-driven integration.
- Specific architecture skills : knowledge of TOGAF and Archimate is a plus.
